For grown-ups: 

- Watch the intro video

- Then use the notes on Trello to tell children about the day

- Play some get to know you games - the children might be able to suggest some really good ones

- Children can decorate their resources box

- If there's time they can design a logo for the group

- If you want to try something as a whole group try moving along to BANANA BANANA MEATBALL

For grown-ups:

  • Take children into the hall with their water bottles and ask them to find a space where they can see the screen. 

  • Make sure bubbles remain spaced out

  • Tell children they are going to be doing some training to become super strong for their adventure

  • When everyone is ready start the video intro video then the workout video

For grown-ups: We are going to learn all about telling stories so we can fill the Time Library with our own tales

  • This is a workshop designed for children to take part in themselves with a little guidance from you - you can pause the video and encourage the activities each time the leader gives a task - you can choose some children to have a go

  • Children will need paper and pen

Don't worry if you don't get through the whole two part workshop 

For grown-ups: 

  • Watch the video first - you can always go back to it during the session.

  • The video contains some options for this creative session which children can take in any direction they'd like

  • For this activity each child needs:

    • A4 Paper​

    • A2 Paper 

    • Book cover template

    • A3 sugar paper

    • White A4 paper for pages

    • 2 x A5 card flats

    • Pens, glue and scissors

    • Lots of decorations

  • Please tidy up at the end of the session - if you need to use a little bit of the break time you can

  • If there's time at the end children can show what they've done (there's more time for this at the end of the day)

  • When the activity is finished please make sure children have put their name on their work and have put it in their take home box/bag

For grown-ups: 

  • Watch the video first - this is a creative session for children to respond to a challenge in their own way.

  • For this activity each child needs:

    • Fake book

    • Coloured paper and card

    • White paper

    • Scissors and glue

    • Decorations

  • Please tidy up at the end of the session - if you need to use a little bit of the break time you can

  • If there's time at the end children can show what they've done (there's more time for this at the end of the day)

  • When the activity is finished please make sure children have put their name on their work and have put it in their take home box/bag

For grown-ups: 

  • Children prepare a report from everything they want to show and tell - you can film this on the iPad or take pictures 

  • They need to explain everything they've made and talk about their books and whats in them

  • Some children may want to write up a report 

For grown-ups:

  • If the weather is good get children to collect all their things for taking home and put their coat on

  • Lead them out to the playground and ask them to put their bag and take home things round the edge of the playground. When their name is called that means their parent is waiting for them at the gate and they will be taken to the gate to sign out

  • At 4:45 bring all remaining children with all their things back into the Yellow Zone Hall

  • If weather is bad bring all children into Blue Zone Hall with all their things at 4:00pm and they will be collected from there
